Project Overview

About

Nawaro is an agricultural investment company that enables investors to fund Miscanthus plantations—a high-yield perennial biomass crop used for renewable energy and bio-based materials. The website addresses a critical market need: connecting capital with sustainable agricultural infrastructure that supports EU energy independence.

The website addresses a critical market need: connecting capital with sustainable agricultural infrastructure that supports EU energy independence.

The website needed to transform a traditionally unclear agricultural investment opportunity into a transparent, accessible, and credible financial product. It had to communicate stability, demonstrate long-term value, and reduce perceived risk while positioning biomass cultivation as a strategic asset class rather than a niche

agricultural venture.

Business Impact:

The website serves as Nawaro's primary investor acquisition channel. Every design decision was calibrated to build trust with risk-aware investors who demand clarity, data, and proof before committing capital.

By establishing clear information architecture, transparent financial messaging, and credibility signals throughout the experience, the website positions Nawaro as a legitimate player in the growing renewable biomass sector. The design directly supports business goals by making complex agricultural economics accessible, emphasizing predictable returns, and creating multiple conversion pathways for serious investor inquiries.

My Role

As the UX/UI designer for Nawaro, I led research, information architecture, interface design, and implementation. I worked directly with the stakeholder to translate agricultural and financial complexity into clear investor-focused

communication. I was responsible for the complete design process—from initial competitive research through final Framer implementation and deployment.

communication. I was responsible for the complete design process—from initial competitive research through final Framer implementation and deployment.

Design Activities

Research & Strategy: Conducted competitor analysis of agricultural investment platforms and renewable energy investment products. Interviewed stakeholder to understand investor pain points, common objections, and decision-making criteria in this sector.

Information Architecture: Organized content to match how investors evaluate opportunities—starting with the value proposition, then moving to crop economics, risk mitigation, and clear next steps.

Trust-Building Framework: Designed credibility signals including transparent data presentation, financial projections and professional visual language that aligned with investor expectations.

UI Design & Implementation: Created responsive layouts in Figma and built the site in Framer, ensuring mobile optimization, clear typography hierarchy, and strategically placed CTAs. Implemented contact forms and navigation patterns that support conversion without aggressive sales tactics.

Project Outcomes

Investor-Ready Information Architecture
Structured complex agricultural and financial information into a clear, scannable hierarchy. Content flows from value proposition to crop economics to conversion points.

Trust-Focused Visual System

Built a modern, credible design language for agricultural investment. Typography, spacing, and hierarchy reinforce stability over

startup hype.

Conversion-Optimized

Experience

Designed multiple pathways for investor engagement through clear CTAs and inquiry forms. Fully responsive for mobile research

and review.

Note: Structured investor data for later stages was not provided before completion. The design was built to accommodate this content once available.

What I learned

Investor Psychology Requires Different UX Patterns
Investors in this sector approach opportunities carefully, looking for reasons to disqualify as much as reasons to invest. This required designing for credibility first—clear data, transparent risk discussion, and professional presentation over engagement metrics.

Clarity is the Ultimate Trust Signal
Vague language and unclear information are red flags in investment UX. Explicit financial projections, crop economics, and risk mitigation build trust faster than aspirational messaging.

Agricultural Economics as Design Constraint
Understanding Miscanthus cultivation and biomass market dynamics was essential. The design had to accurately represent complex agricultural systems in ways that aligned with investor mental models.

Information Architecture as Risk Reduction
Sequencing content to address investor questions logically—What is this? Why now? What are returns? What are risks?—reduces cognitive friction and builds confidence progressively.

1

Research

Analyzed agricultural investment websites, renewable energy investment products, and sustainable finance platforms to understand category conventions and investor expectations. Identified patterns in how credible websites communicate risk, returns, and regulatory context.

2

Strategy

Defined content priorities based on investor decision-making criteria. Established a trust-building framework that balanced sustainability messaging with financial performance clarity.

4

Visual Direction

Established a modern, clean aesthetic that elevates agricultural investment without sacrificing credibility. Selected typography that reinforces stability. Created a green-focused color system that connects to agriculture while maintaining sophistication.

6

UX Measurements

Established key metrics to evaluate design success and investor engagement. Tracking conversion rate from visitor to inquiry submission, time spent on critical sections, bounce rate on landing page, and mobile vs. desktop engagement patterns. Monitoring scroll depth on long-form content and form abandonment rates to identify friction points and optimize the investor journey over time.

5

Design

Built responsive layouts in Framer with attention to mobile optimization, form functionality, and page performance.

3

Information Architecture

Mapped investor mental models to content structure. Created a logical flow from value proposition through detailed economics to conversion points. Prioritized transparency and data accessibility
